About Raimund
Austrian, Raimund Baumschlager, was born in 1959 and first became involved in rally motorsport in the early 1980s.
His first win came at the wheel of an Opel Manta in 1986, and he won his first Austrian Rally Championship in 1993. Raimund returned a decade later to win his domestic championship again, and has won every year since up to 2009. He now drives a Skoda Fabia S2000.
As well as dominating the Austrian championship, Raimund has competed in 12 World Rally Championship events.
