- Though he would have wanted a home win at Hockenheim, Sebastian Vettel was pleased to finish on the podium in the German Grand Prix. Mark Webber’s oil consumption problem meant he had to adapt his driving style to save the engine and this left him in sixth. Webber (pictured here during a very wet Friday practice) and Vettel now have identical 136pt points totals in joint-third place for the drivers’ championship.
