Famed for its tranquillity and natural beauty, the Hawkesbury region is situated around 60km north of Australia's largest city, Sydney. A historic location dating back to the First Fleet, the local area is home to the stunning Cattai National Park, a spot originally occupied by indigenous Australians, the Dharug people.
A popular holiday destination for local Sydneysiders and tourists alike, the Hawkesbury region provides the perfect, picturesque setting for a whole range of activities, including wakeboarding, sailing, bushwalking... and cliff diving!

Competition Details
The event format includes two required dives, with a DD of 3.6, and two optional dives (with a higher DD). There will be two days of training on January 31 and February 1, with one competition day, with four dives, taking place on Thursday, February 2 and one competition day, with four dives, taking place on Saturday, February 4.
All eight dives, from both competition days, will be added together and the cumulative scores will constitute the final results for each athlete. The four divers with the highest scores will qualify for the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2012!

Spectator Information
The main event, next to the Riverside Oaks Golf Resort (in Cattai, NSW 2756), kicks off on Saturday, February 4, from 1pm, with the competition running from 2.30pm–4.30pm. Spectators are encouraged to bring their boats to bag the best vantage points!
