Moto2 world championship runner-up Marc Marquez has delayed his comeback after eye surgery and will miss next week's Valencia test.
Marquez underwent surgery in Barcelona last month for double vision following a crash in practice ahead of October 2011's Malaysian Grand Prix and the Spaniard has decided that the testing session at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit has come too soon for him to take part.
The 18-year-old star was originally scheduled to participate in the test, which runs from February 8 to 10, but has erred on the side of caution, however he is expected to be back in action in the near future.
