Spanish Moto2 rider Marc Marquez has travelled to Indianapolis with high hopes after his second place in the last grand prix at Brno. Read Marc's thoughts on this weekend's race in his latest blog.

Hola a todos,

This week it's the turn of a very special grand prix; we have come to the United States to take on Indianapolis. We travelled on Tuesday this week so that we could have more time to acclimatise and not suffer too much from jet lag during training.

Both the team and I have travelled to America with a suitcase full of dreams. Indianapolis is a circuit that brings back memories – both good and bad! Last year I rode very quickly and got the pole but a fall prevented me from winning. Fortunately I was able to recover and still got some important points in terms of the overall championship.

It’s a beautiful track that I like very much. It’s a special circuit and, with the main grandstand so enclosed, it feels almost like a stadium. This year they have paved the technical area as well which will be an advantage for the riders because last year it was quite bumpy.

After the grand prix, we travel directly to San Marino without passing through Spain, as we compete in two consecutive races. I hope you will enjoy them as much as we will!

Un saludo,

Marc
