Public track in Switzerland planned

Swiss all-rounder Claudio Caluori, 33, can’t stop moving. He always has new projects in mind. Even when the Red Bull Crashed Ice season is over, he is looking forward to new competitions and wondering where the next stops will be.

So one day he got the idea to build a Red Bull Crashed Ice track for the public in Davos, Switzerland. He is still fighting for permission and rights, but he is confident that he will succeed.

“There’ll be a chair-lift with which you can drive to the slope. The first part will be easy and mainly made for beginners. Then there will be a pro-section for the Red Bull Crashed Ice racers and ice-hockey pros. All in all the track will be round with high and long jump opportunities,” Claudio tells us.

In the summer he is doing every kind of sport which has to do with mountain biking. Downhill mountain biking is his favourite.

“During this summer I am team manager at the mountain bike world cup. I have been doing downhill mountain biking for sixteen years and I don’t get these jimjams like when I am standing in front of a very deep and high Red Bull Crashed Ice slope.”

Check here what the other racers are doing this summer.
