After a very windy La Rochelle, the Series will arrive in Italy. It is a new location so we won't know what to expect with regards to the weather conditions, but what we do know is that, like in La Rochelle, we'll be diving from a magnificent old building, in this case the Scaliger Castle.
I have been practicing the running take-off and some double twisting lead-ups on the three metre so, if all goes well, I will retry the front quad with two and a half twists.
After doing this dive in Italy last year and landing very short in the competition I have thought a lot about trying it again. I'm going to wait until I see the platform and the location before I decide whether or not to do it, as this and the weather conditions play a big role.
As we pass the halfway point of the Series, the race for points starts to get interesting so you can expect excitement, thrills, and, of course, some spectacular dives.
Ci vediamo a Malcesine!
