We're coming towards the end of the series and it's been an interesting ride.
The competition in Italy was a great one and my new dive went okay in training with only a few little corrections needed before the final.
I had a decent lead going into the last round where I performed the front quad with 2.5 twists from a running take-off.
In the air, the dive felt good, better than in training. However, in finishing the dive with a barani, before I knew it, I had hit the water. I didn't even have time to react. In the end I was happy to still finish in third place after a nasty crash like that.
For the competition in Switzerland I will be using the front quad with 1.5 twists as my final dive as it's one of my favourite dives.
As for the 2.5 twisting quad, I'm going to wait for a good location (at least 27 metres) and then I'll give it another go. I feel capable of doing this dive well it's just a matter of waiting for the right location.
